Indian athletes win Gold in Mixed Doubles at the Commonwealth Table Tennis C’ships!

Indian athletes are unstoppable and this month alone, it was raining gold medals for the proud nation. The boys and girls are not stopping anytime soon. The latest ones who stole the spotlight was G. Sathiyan and Archana Kamath.

They both won gold in mixed doubles from the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships in Cuttack.

As our athletes are fighting with grit and determination on the field, success is following them around like a shadow. Earlier it was so tough for the athletes to win gold and now they are winning like a hot knife through butter.

Cut to the Table Tennis Championships in the finals, India’s productive duo outsmarted Singapore’s Peng Yu En Koen and Goi Rui Xuan 3-0.

Following the win, India’s gold medal count stands at three, on the second last day. To mention that G. Sathiyan and Archana Kamath looked well and truly great as they were dominant right from the word go and they didn’t show any sign of weakness to the Singaporean pair.

Previously, India men’s team won a gold, trouncing England for victory. In yet another sensational victory for India, women’s team scripted history as they won a gold in doubles defeating England 3-0.
