Meet the First Indian Army Officer who will complete 7 Summits, let’s encourage him

Climbing Mt. Everest and other highest peaks like Mt Everest, Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Carstensz Pyramid, Mt Elbrus, Mt Aconcagua and Mt Denali are one of the herculean and dangerous missions in the world. To be able to put in great efforts to climb the peaks is such a great thing and Colonel Ranveer Singh Jamwal is on an important mission to climb the highest mountain of all seven continents.

He has already scaled the highest peaks in 6 continents and is all set for one last mission i.e. Mt Vinson. So far it was not that easy for Ranveer Singh but he made it look so. One needs to carry the tent, food, supplemental oxygen and climbing equipment for a successful expedition.

“My summit is all dependant on weather. I am very thankful of my seniors who supported me whenever I need most,” said Zee News quoted Colonel Ranveer Jamwal as saying.

Janwal has by far done more than 30 expeditions across six continents, which goes to show how experienced he is in trekking. Interestingly, he is the only person in India to lead back-to-back Everest expeditions three times and a sum of 51 climbers have climbed the Everest under his leadership, state reports.

He has hoisted the national flag at Mt Everest, Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Carstensz Pyramid, Mt Elbrus, Mt Aconcagua and Mt Denali.

He has one last expedition to complete i.e. Mount Vinson and if he accomplishes this task, Jamwal will become the first person from the Indian Army and the 9th Indian to complete seven summits in the 7 continents of the world.
