Shilpa Shetty rides mule to VaishnoDevi, users show anger for animal abuse

Shilpa Shetty is a prominent and famous name in the Indian film industry. She has settled in the hearts of the audience due to her beauty, acting skills, and her activeness in social work. But recently, she has been trolled a lot and is facing controversy among social media netizens. Shilpa Shetty along with her mother Sunand Shetty and sister Shamita Shetty went to visit Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Shilpa Shetty’s video and pictures from Vaishno Devi have surfaced which are going viral.

Recently a video of Shilpa Shetty has surfaced in which she is shown sitting on a horse, and she is going to the temple of Vaishno Devi with her mother. This video quickly went viral on social media and became a cause of controversy among people. Because on social media she promotes fitness and yoga and in real life, she has gone to see Vishnu Devi sitting on a horse.

Whenever Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty gets a chance, she goes on a religious pilgrimage. A few days ago the actress had gone to visit Kamakhya temple with her family. Now she has reached the Vaishno temple with her family. Shilpa Shetty shared a picture in which Shilpa and Shamita are seen kissing their mother on the cheek. Shilpa Shetty captioned the picture, “Vaishno Devi with her goddess. Happy Mother’s Day, today, tomorrow, and every day mother. Our hearts are full of love and celebration for you always.”

But netizens were not impressed and called out the actresses for riding horses, citing “animal abuse”. Users also questioned what was the point of advocating fitness on social media if they could not reach the temple on foot.

“Are there any animal lovers out there seeing this oppression?” One user commented while another wrote, ‘Kya faeda itni fitness ka jab jaana kisi bezubaan pe baithkar hai’.
