Team India ran through a catastrophic failure while locking horns with the England cricket team in the second semi-final that took place at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. Rohit Sharma and Co hardly made a case for themselves with the ball and in the end, they lost the game by 10 wickets.

The Men in Blue were on the receiving end of trolls on social media as they failed to take even a single wicket in the second semi-final. England cricket team were head and shoulders above Team India across all formats of the game and they deservedly won the game.

Alex Hales scored an unbeaten 89 whereas Jos Buttler scored 80 runs respectively as the duo added 170 runs for the opening wicket to help the team cruise into the finals of the competition.

After the game, the industrialist, Anand Mahindra took to his Twitter handle and expressed his disappointment. He stressed the fact that it’s not the defeat that hurt him the most but the way in which India lost the game.

“It’s not the losing that hurts, but the manner of losing… The shifting winds of sport can be cruel… Well, we’ll look at it as just another opportunity to Rise…,” Mahindra tweeted.
