These are the issues Tina Dabi started facing right after marriage, check out

After two and a half years of love marriage between two young IAS officers, news of divorce has gone viral on social media. IAS Tina Dabi, who topped the Union Public Service Commission examination (2015 batch), and husband, IAS Athar Khan, have left people in awe by filing for divorce.

The couple is in the news these days. The buzz is that after getting married in 2018, both are going to get divorced. Two years after wedding, the celebrated civil servant couple has filed for divorce with mutual consent in a family court in Jaipur, according to reports.

IAS toppers Tina Dabi and Athar Khan, who tied the knot in Jaipur in March 2018, serve in the Rajasthan cadre. Athar, who hails from J&K, had secured the second position in the UPSC civil services exam in 2015, while Tina Dabi ranked first. Dabi and Khan, both from the Rajasthan cadre met during their training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy for Administration in Mussoorie and fell in love.

At the time of marriage, trainee IAS Tina Dabi was posted in Kishangarh SDM post in Ajmer district of Rajasthan. After some time the first posting to the post of SDM was given in Bhilwara. With this, Tina Dabi, as a government officer, started facing problems.

Rajasthan’s Bhilwara was in the news due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Tina Dabi took the whole responsibility on her shoulder to defeat the coronavirus. Following the first positive case of COVID-19, the district collector immediately imposed a complete lockdown across the district. The 26-year-old Tina Dabi played a crucial role in bringing the situation under control.

In the Lok Sabha elections, in addition to duty, other responsibilities were also fulfilled by the young spirit. Gradually, she started tackling all other problems. Tina was honored on Republic Day for solving the problems of the town. After working for two years in Bhilwara, Tina took charge as CEO of Sriganganagar District Council in July this year.

After marriage, Tina Dabi saw a hard time as she was trolled for her decision and allegations of ‘love jihad’ soon followed. Hindu Mahasabha targeted Tina over her decision to marry IAS Athar Aamir Khan calling it ‘Love Jihad’. She thereafter continuously faced the same taunt from Hindu leaders and supporters on social media.

Later, the strain in their relationship came after which Tina Dabi removed ‘Khan’ from her social media accounts. On the other hand, Athar unfollowing Tina on Instagram around the same time strengthened the rumours of estrangement between the couple.
