Blinkit, one of India’s leading quick-commerce platforms, has made shopping for daily essentials faster and more convenient than ever. Whether it’s groceries, fresh produce, or snacks, Blinkit promises delivery within minutes, catering especially to those in urgent need. But with such speed, concerns around quality control are starting to grow.
Recently, an Instagram influencer, Chow Sureng Rajkonwar, shared a shocking video that has gone viral. He ordered a tray of eggs from Blinkit, only to discover something deeply unsettling.

Upon opening the pack, he noticed a foul smell. When he cracked the eggs, a greyish-black liquid oozed out — clearly spoiled. In his video, he not only showed the already-rotten eggs but also cracked open more on camera, all showing the same disturbing contents.
He raised an important point — what if someone had simply boiled the eggs without checking? The rotten condition may have gone unnoticed until much later, possibly causing health risks.
Tagging Blinkit in his post with the caption “Rotten eggs from Blinkit,” Sureng’s video quickly gained traction. Many others flooded the comments, sharing similar experiences. That prompted Blinkit to reach out directly. In a response shared by the influencer, Blinkit apologized and asked for his order ID to investigate:
“Hi Sureng, we’re truly sorry… Please share your order ID via DM so we can investigate this on priority.”
However, Sureng highlighted that this wasn’t just about getting a refund. He explained that in situations like having a sick person at home, users rely on delivery services not just for speed but for safe, reliable products. He stressed that at least 20% of the people in his comments had faced similar issues — hinting at a broader problem with quality control.
In his words: “We’re not just paying for speed — we’re paying for reliability, safety, and trust.”
