No dream is too distant when fueled by hard work and strong intentions. This has been proved true by Ramdas Hemraj Marbade, who used to sell golgappas on the streets, but today his ability has taken him to ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization).

Ramdas Hemraj Marbade is a resident of the Gondia district of Maharashtra who has gotten a job in the Indian Space Research Organization today on the basis of his hard work. Everyone loves to eat golgappas. You will find it in almost every corner in the country, but you would never have thought that a golgappa seller would travel straight to the moon.
According to sources, Ramdas Hemraj Marbade is serving in the technician department of ISRO. His father was a peon in the Dongargaon Zila Parishad School who had just retired. His mother is a housewife. He completed a BA (private) from YCS College, Nashik. However, due to the poor financial condition of the family, he started selling golgappas. He used to sell golgappas during the day. Also, he used to study at night.
In the year 2023, ISRO issued a recruitment for apprentice trainee posts. In such a situation, Ramdas Hemraj Marbade applied for this vacancy. In the year 2024, he gave the exam for this in Nagpur. After this, in August 2024, he reached the ISRO center in Sriharikota to take the skill test exam and passed the exam. He was selected, and on 19 May 2025, he reached the Indian Space Research Organization Space Center in Sriharikota with the joining letter and is taking over the post of pump operator-cum-mechanic.
Sandeep’s parents are overjoyed with this success. His father said emotionally, “We never thought that our son would do such a big thing. His hard work has made us proud.” Sandeep’s story is an inspiration for all those youngsters who give in to circumstances. By getting selected in a prestigious institute like ISRO, Sandeep has given the message that if courage is high, then anyone can move from a cart to reach the moon.
