The interesting and spicy clash was witnessed in stand-up comedy when a new, emerging comedian, Omkar Yadav, roasted the famous political comedian Kunal Kamra in front of him. Kunal Kamra came as a guest in the second episode of the second season of Ashish Solanki’s roast show. Kunal Kamra was being roasted by all the comedians in this episode.
According to sources, Kamra, who used to take a dig at the country’s politics, had to face criticism this time himself – that too at the hands of a new artist. Omkar Yadav, while fearlessly roasting Kunal Kamra, said, “Kamra has been doing political comedy for years, but to date he has not been able to change even one person’s thinking!” “Kamra listens to everyone but works only for the Congress!” “He does not see the pain of Kashmiri Pandits!”
All this happened on Ashish Solanki’s YouTube show Brocode Roast. Different comedians are invited on this show. Then a panel of comedians roasts them one by one. This time, Kunal Kamra was invited as a guest on the show. 6-7 comedians present there roasted Kunal Kamra. However, out of all the comedians, Omkar Yadav came on the mic and roasted Kamra fiercely.
Omkar further said, “Kamra had gone to support Kanhaiya. CPIM was a party. Kanhaiya was fighting against them. Kamra went to Bihar. CPIM people got sad. Because for the first time, they saw a fat man on their team. People are not able to convince. People are saying that the contractor has come with the laborers. How to trust? People are not able to understand.”
Before Omkar Yadav, Ashish Solanki called him unlucky and a drunkard. Calling Kamra on the stage as a guest, Ashish said, “I am not calling him jinxed, but before this, he had gone to support Latent (India’s Got Latent). Don’t know what will happen today! He sets the stage on fire and his fans in the auditorium.”
The audience sitting in the crowd laughed heartily at Omkar’s words and welcomed him with applause. The video of this roast is now spreading like wildfire on the internet.
