In Saraswati Vidya Mandir School, in Panipat, the students of class 8 were made to recite Kalma. The students went home and recited Kalma, hearing which the family got angry and created a ruckus at the school. On this, the principal expelled the female teacher from the school. This matter is going viral on social media.

According to sources, the name of the teacher is Mahjib Ansari, who is also known as Mahi. She had also identified herself as a Hindu instead of a Muslim. Teacher Mahi taught the Islamic Kalma to the students in the class. They went home and recited Kalma. When their parents came to know, there was a ruckus in the school. Mostly, parents reached the school and demanded strict action against the teacher.
On the uproar created by the parents, the principal fired the teacher from the job. At present, no complaint has been made to the police in this matter. At the same time, the Muslim female teacher has also accepted her mistake in front of everyone. Mahjib Ansari, alias Mahi, used to teach them the Sanskrit subject in the eighth class, and then, after the prayer, she made the children recite Kalma.
Principal Indu talked to teacher Mahi on this matter. Mahi told the principal that she never taught students based on caste or religion. Children are learning about all religions. Just like Hindus recite Aarti or Hanuman Chalisa during worship, Muslims recite Kalma. To satisfy the curiosity of the children, she recited to them a couple of lines of Kalma. The teacher apologized for the mistake; however, she was dismissed from the job.
Parents say that it is not the job of a teacher to preach religion, especially when the school environment is completely based on cultural and traditional values. However, this is not the first case. Many such cases have come to light before where Muslim teachers have been caught teaching the Kalma to students in school.
