Meerut Madrasa Student Caught Running Illegal Weapon Racket – Police Stunned!

A shocking link of crime has come to light in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. Police have busted a gang smuggling illegal weapons and cartridges. Three members of this gang have been arrested, including a madrasa student. The surprising thing is that this gang is being linked to the country’s infamous Neeraj Bawana gang.

According to sources, the police have arrested three accused with 234 cartridges; 4 accused are absconding. Police suspect that this gang is linked to Delhi’s infamous Neeraj Bawana gang. A total of 234 cartridges have been recovered from the accused, including 204 cartridges of 12 bore and 30 cartridges of 315 bore. The mastermind of this gang is a young man studying Hafiz in a madrasa.

Meerut Police and the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, in a joint operation, busted the cartridge supply network and arrested Sharib, Uwaid Khan, and Haider Khan, alias Bhura, a resident of Sathala. Police interrogation has revealed that Sharib is the mastermind of this entire gang, who is studying Hafiz in the madrasa, and he was making illegal weapons.

Police said that these cartridges are usually used for shooting, but the accused were modifying them and converting them into lethal weapons. Police suspect that this gang may be connected to Delhi gangster Neeraj Bawana’s gang. Sharib was running this gang network with his brother Shakir and his nephew. The accused told them that they used to get the consignment of cartridges from Ahad alias Raja alias Pakhtooni. Which was later supplied to other associates.

Thousands of such madrasas have been opened, which have neither any proper government recognition nor a security check. In the name of education in madrasas, a different game is going on. The appeasement policy of the previous governments gave a free hand to madrasas in every street and locality just for vote bank politics, the dangerous consequences of which are coming to the fore today. There is a need to strictly investigate such madrasas.
