‘We Are Living in Fear’: Hindu Families in Delhi Allege Ongoing Harassment by Muslims

Dalit Hindu women from Delhi’s Seelampur area accused Muslims of harassing Hindus. A video has gone viral on social media in which Dalit Hindu women protested on the streets and appealed to the government for help. It is alleged that some Muslim people deliberately misbehave with women, harass children, and make the environment scary.

In the viral video, the woman says, “Muslims of the Seelampur area have harassed all Hindus. On Tuesdays, they throw eggs at Hindu houses, eat meat, and throw bones. They deliberately misbehave with women, blow cigarette smoke in their faces, and sometimes snatch money too. They harass children; we are afraid to send our kids to school. All Hindus feel unsafe.

In the video, Hindu women are pleading for help from Modi ji. Troubled by the harassment by Muslims around them, their last hope is to protest on the streets and ask for help from the government. Hindu women say that they have turned Seelampur into Bangladesh. We are terrified, our children and families are not feeling safe at all. Strict action should be taken against them.

Although the video has not been confirmed, it is going viral on social media. However, this is not the first case where Hindus have been harassed like this by Muslims. There have been many such cases and videos before. Viewers have also shared their reactions after the video went viral.

A user wrote, “Why are you crying? Commit suicide. Anyway, in the eyes of the constitution and judiciary, you Hindus are a burden in this country. Get up and die. And set an example for the history of this country, because you cannot do anything except cry. At least you can die. Or you cannot even die out of fear.”

Another user wrote, “The administration of Seelampur should take cognizance and take immediate action. Are Hindus not safe in their own country? Bhim Army will have to understand that Jihadi Muslims do not differentiate between Dalits and upper castes. They only see Hindus (infidels). Did the call of this Dalit woman not reach the ears of the contractors of the Bhim Army”?
