India’s Operation Sindoor was long due and necessary: British writer David Vance

British political commentator and author David Vance has made a big statement on the Pahalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor. He supported India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ on terrorist bases in Pakistan, calling it “should have happened long ago.” At the same time, he criticized China for supporting Pakistan.

Vance also reiterated his previous comments in a 2018 United Nations address, where he called Pakistan a “failed country” and an “incubator of terrorism”. In an interview, Vance said, “I think the operation was long overdue. It needed to happen. The operation has been quite successful. It was much more than a conflict with Pakistan.

Reiterating his previous comments in the address, he said in the United Nations in 2018, I consider Pakistan a failed country, a terrorist country, a terrorist incubator. And so it was good that India took action against it.” However, he expressed disappointment when President Trump intervened and tried to broker a ceasefire. He said, “I did not think there was any need for a ceasefire.”

He further spoke about several media channels and criticized them. He called many Western media channels very unfair, not only on this issue but also on many other issues. Also, BBC is the main source of news in Britain. He has asked to ban BBC in India because BBC is very anti-India and pro-Pakistan.”

According to sources, he criticized China for supporting Pakistan. Accusing Beijing, he said, “China uses Pakistan as a proxy in the Asia region. So China cannot be trusted.” He also said that if India is given the right support, it can act as a strong wall for the West against China in the Asia region.

Vance called President Trump very misguided in this matter. He does not appreciate his interference in the matter between India and Pakistan. Trump should have supported Prime Minister Modi and supported India because it is fighting a terrorist country. He accused President Trump of trying to turn this into another big achievement for himself. He said, “Trump should stay away from this and let India complete its work.”
