Pakistan journalist hits out at Prime Minister for celebrating a fake victory,

Recently exiled Pakistani journalist Imran Riaz Khan has made a big allegation against the Pakistani establishment, especially Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He said that despite losing to India, a ‘fake victory’ is being celebrated in Pakistan, which is misleading the general public. This video of Imran Riaz is going viral on social media.

In the viral video, Imran Riaz is seen exposing Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He says, “India did what it had to do very well, entered Pakistan, targeted, and carried out a successful attack. But it is an old habit of Shahbaz Sharif that whenever he fails, he congratulates”.

He further says, “The worst incident of the Jaffar Express happened inside Pakistan, and there was a worse failure of intelligence, and Shahbaz Sharif was congratulating himself after the operation. Imagine how much life was lost, and Pakistanis suffered losses, but he was still congratulating them. He developed this habit after losing the election on 8 February 2024 and then immediately congratulating himself on the victory on 9 February.

Imran claimed Shahbaz Sharif congratulates him on every defeat, every failure. He never talks about leadership, never talks about victory. A mixed response was also seen from the public on social media. Some people were seen standing in support of Imran Riaz and called him the ‘voice of truth,’ while some also targeted him by calling him ‘India’s agent.’

Although there is no doubt in Imran’s claim, recently the Pakistani Army cleverly picked up a clip of India’s national news channel Aaj Tak in a media conference and, after editing and cropping it, showed it to the media as proof of its victory. This lie was soon exposed, although Pakistan always tries to cover up its failures in the form of fake victories.

When the country’s economy is falling, unemployment is increasing. When the crime rate is increasing and the law and order situation is bad, why are these ‘false claims of victory’ being made to divert attention from these issues?
