Recently, the Pakistani government has become a subject of international jokes for a strange act. A video was posted from the official Twitter account of the Pakistan government, which they described as “proof” of shooting down the Indian Rafale fighter jet. But surprisingly, this video was not real but from a famous video game, ARMA 3.
According to sources, the video was posted with the caption, “Information Minister Ataullah Taraz praised the Pakistani armed forces for their timely and patient response to India’s aggression and cowardly attack. This 30-second video, in which a fighter jet is allegedly being shot down, is taken from the shooter simulation video game Amara 3, released in 2013.
However, social media users and experts immediately recognized that this footage is part of a video game called ARMA 3, which is known for its realistic war scenes. As soon as this clip surfaced, the UK media reacted to the action of the Pakistani government. Social media was also flooded with memes and taunts.
Along with terror, Pakistan is now also on the rise in spreading propaganda. False victories can be shown to the world as truth through video editing. However, Indian media agencies have exposed Pakistan’s lies every time with solid evidence.
A user writes, Not surprising. Our foreign minister was right in saying that this nation has been lying since the time of its inception.
Other users write, Pak training ground is PUBG, so this doesn’t surprise anyone. It is already the official channel for India to follow for authentic news. Even we Indian citizens rely on this for official, authentic news. Pakis are pathological liars who spread disinformation.
Other users write, When Pak’s defense minister said, ‘It’s on social media, responding to CNN’s question, ‘Where is the proof that Pakistan shot down Indian jets?” This is what he meant.
Other users write, Embarrassing, how can a government do that…? It’s for their army morale because, in reality, their air force is a clown.
