Milord, I have taken down the video on Sadhguru, Isha Foundation: Shyam Meera Singh to Court

YouTuber Shyam Mira Singh recently appeared in the Delhi High Court and made an important statement. He informed the court that he has removed his video made on Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and Isha Foundation. In the court, he said in clear words, “My Lord, I have removed that video. In the video, Shyam Meera Singh had alleged that minors were being exploited in the ashram.

Shyam Meera Singh posted a video on his YouTube channel in which he raised some serious questions about the Isha Foundation and its founder, Sadhguru. The video alleged that minors were being exploited in the ashram. The Isha Foundation objected to this video, and it was termed a case of defamation.

After this, the foundation approached the Delhi High Court and demanded the removal of the video. The court granted Singh additional time to submit his response to both the Isha Foundation’s application and the interim injunction request. During the court hearing, Shyam Meera Singh himself appeared and informed the court that he had removed the video.

After this incident, there was a lot of commotion on social media as well. Some people stood in support of Shyam Meera Singh. At the same time, supporters of Isha Foundation say that action must be taken on the content that spreads misinformation. Many different reactions also came up.

A user wrote, “For these uncouth YouTubers, making nonsensical content on easy targets is like a shortcut to more viewership, celebrity status, and claiming their liberal & woke credentials. Personally, half of them are worse than third-rate human beings, but YouTuber status and the followership of a few more idiots make them believe that they’re fit for self-assumed high ground and entitled to a license to insult others in the name of freedom of expression.

Another user wrote, Shyam Meera Singh should be fined and punished.

Another user wrote, Didn’t he say that I dare and I won’t pull down the video? Now what happened?
