The second part, “Rust,” likely refers to the Rust programming language, which is used in many tech projects—including possibly within xAI. So the name may reflect Musk’s focus on artificial intelligence and technology.
But that’s not all. Believe it or not, “Gorklon Rust” is also the name of a meme coin being traded on the Solana blockchain. This coin is available on decentralized platforms like PumpSwap, Raydium, and Meteora.
This isn’t the first time Elon Musk has changed his name on X. Earlier this year, he changed it to “Kekius Maximus” and even updated his profile picture to a meme of Pepe the Frog playing a video game.
