Ullu App Removes ‘House Arrest’ Episodes After Viral Obscene Content Sparks Legal Action

All limits of obscenity have been crossed in the reality show ‘House Arrest‘. Due to the obscene video clips of the show going viral on social media, the Ullu App has removed all the episodes of the show. The National Commission for Women issued a notice to the CEO of Ullu App and Ajaz Khan. A case has also been registered against some other people associated with this show.

Ajaz Khan was hosting the controversial reality show ‘House Arrest.’ According to other reports, an FIR has been registered against Ajaz Khan and others associated with the show under Section 296, 3 (5) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS), Section 67 (A) of the IT Act and Section 4, 6 and 7 of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. The National Commission for Women also sent summonses to Ajaz Khan and the CEO of Ullu App and asked them to appear on May 9.

The Women’s Commission said that such content is against women and promotes sexual harassment. After the controversy escalated, the Ullu app removed all the episodes of ‘House Arrest’ from its platform. So far, there has been no reaction from Ajaz Khan and the makers on this whole matter. But Gehna Vashisht, a contestant of ‘House Arrest’, definitely reacted and called it hypocrisy.

Many obscene videos of the reality show ‘House Arrest’ went viral. In one video, Ajaz Khan was asking a female contestant to show and teach different sex positions. All the contestants started showing the sex positions. Seeing this, people got angry and accused the show of spreading obscenity and demanded a ban on it.

Another obscene video of this show is also going viral on social media. In this video, the contestants can be seen kissing. The male contestants are seen lifting the girls in their laps and kissing them. Users expressed their displeasure over this; due to this controversy, questions are also being raised about the producer and production team of the show ‘House Arrest.’
