After the Pahalgam terror attack, India has been continuously taking strict actions against Pakistan. This incident hurt the entire Indian people; everyone condemned this attack, and the fire of revenge is in everyone’s mind. India recently banned the social media accounts of Pakistani actors and entertainment channels.

This decision has been taken keeping in mind the country’s security, sovereignty, and social harmony. The banned artist accounts include many popular singers and celebrities. First, Hania Aamir’s account was banned; after this, many actors like Fawad Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam, and all their Instagram handles were banned.
The Instagram of Pakistani Sufi singer Abida Parveen, who is called the Queen of Sufi Music, has also been blocked. Farhan Saeed also shared a post after being banned on Instagram. He wrote, “The talk has started from war and has come to the blocking of schools. It is your loss. My love to the Indian fans who are victims of this, and I pray that people come to their senses and you can see your favorite actors again.”
Along with actors, singers, and artists, Pakistani entertainment channels have also been banned in India. All the accounts streaming dramas on YouTube have been banned, such as ARY Digital, Hum TV, and GEO. Indian fans are shocked by the ban on all Pakistani entertainment channels.
When Indian users try to access these accounts, they see a message: “The account is not available in India. This is because we have complied with a legal request to ban this content.” A wave of grief spread on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) when users shared screenshots of the error message.
All the Indian fans expressed disappointment, saying, “How will they be able to watch their favorite Pakistani shows now?” Many users have appreciated the government’s action. They said that it was necessary as these Pakistani channels were spreading confusion and negativity among the Indian youth.
