This time, the matter is about an episode of his new web show, ‘House Arrest.’ Ajaz is facing criticism from netizens after a clip of the show went viral. According to sources, a clip of an obscene scene from Ajaz Khan’s show ‘House Arrest’ went viral on social media, against which users have raised their voices. The ‘House Arrest’ show, which streamed on OTT platform Ullu as well as YouTube. Now it is creating outrage among the people over its controversial content.
In the viral clip, Ajaz Khan was seen asking the contestants to demonstrate different positions of sex, which was termed as obscene by the audience. In the video, Ajaz asked the contestant to show her experience and knowledge about sex positions, and when the contestant said that she did not know about the position, Ajaz questioned her, ‘You have not experimented?’
The situation gets worse when another contestant, actress Gehna Vashisht, is instructed to demonstrate the positions to two others. The demonstration captured in the video has been widely criticized as it is ostentatious. The video is now going viral on social media, with users trolling Ajaz.
Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said she has flagged the issue of apps like Ullu and Alt Balaji bypassing the adult content ban to the parliamentary committee and is still waiting for a reply. She questioned how such platforms continue to operate despite the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’s restrictions.
The outrage over the show has gone beyond social criticism. Some users have demanded a complete ban on the show and legal action against the makers.
Others expressed concern for the participants, especially the women shown in the scene. Comments such as “What will happen to the families of these girls?” and “Where is the National Commission for Women?” reflect the growing uneasiness about the impact of such shows on public morality.
