PM Modi gives free hand to the Indian armed forces: report

After the recent Pahalgam terror attack, Prime Minister Modi has given a free hand to all 3 forces to deal with terrorism. This order was given after a high-level meeting with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and NSA Ajit Doval, which also included the Army Chief. This step has been taken, especially given the increasing concern on the border and the internal security challenges of the country.

After the terror attack, Prime Minister Modi made it clear that the army has a free hand to decide the time, target, and method of retaliation. He said that the army is capable of taking any necessary step to give a befitting reply to the terrorists. He praised the capability and dedication of the army and said that the country has full faith in its armed forces.

According to sources, PM Modi assured the armed forces that the government stands with their every decision and they will get all possible support to protect the nation. This free hand to all 3 forces is only for retaliation, so that there will be no delay in giving a befitting reply to the enemy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting in this regard, which was attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan, the Army Chief, the Navy Chief, and the Air Force Chief.
