Surgical strike on Shoaib Akhtar, his youtube channel banned in India

After the recent Pahalgam terror attack, many Pakistani YouTuber channels have been blocked in India. These include the YouTube channel of former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar. India has taken this step amid allegations of promoting terrorism and spreading misleading information by Pakistan.

According to sources, all these banned Pakistani YouTube channels are accused of broadcasting “fake, provocative and communally sensitive content” about India. About 16 Pakistani channels have been blocked in India. A Pakistani channel run by former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has also been blocked by the Indian government. India has been continuously taking action against Pakistan since the Pahalgam terror attack.

After this decision was taken by the government, a pop-up message is being shown on opening all the banned YouTube channels, including Shoaib Akhtar. It states, “Due to the government’s order related to national security or public order, this material is currently not available in this country. Apart from Shoaib Akhtar, channels of Pakistani people like Arzoo Kazmi and Syed Muzammil Shah are included.

This list also includes many Pakistani media channels: Dawn News, Irshad Bhatti, SAMAA TV, ARY NEWS, BOL NEWS, Raftaar, The Pakistan Reference, Geo News, Samaa Sports, GNN, Uzair Cricket, Umar Cheema Exclusive, Asma Shirazi, Munib Farooq, SUNO News, and Razi Nama.

On April 22, terrorists carried out a major attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 people were killed and many others were injured. Most of the dead were tourists who had come to enjoy the natural beauty of Kashmir. Security questions were raised about this attack as it shocked the entire country.

Since this attack, the central government has taken continuous action against Pakistan. First of all, 48 hours were given to cancel the visas of Pakistani citizens. This was accompanied by the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty. Since then, concerns between India and Pakistan have been increasing. The ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan has escalated with increasing diplomatic measures, impacting bilateral relations and security concerns.
