Actor Salman Khan has once again received a disturbing threat—this time via a WhatsApp message sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police. The sender warned of killing the superstar at his home and claimed that an explosion would be carried out in his vehicle.
This incident comes exactly a year after shots were fired outside his Bandra residence. It’s no longer just an isolated event. It’s a pattern—and a deeply troubling one.

The Mumbai Police have moved swiftly, registering an FIR and tracing the message to a 26-year-old man from a village near Vadodara, Gujarat. The individual has reportedly been served a notice and asked to appear before the Worli Police within a few days.
Early information suggests the man may be mentally unstable and is undergoing treatment. But mental health aside, the fact that high-profile threats like these keep surfacing raises serious concerns about the security framework around public figures like Salman Khan.
As ANI quoted, “Worli Traffic Control Room’s WhatsApp number received a threat message for actor Salman Khan wherein it was threatened that the actor would be killed at his home and an explosion would be executed in his vehicle.”
That’s a direct, detailed threat. And even if it turns out to be a hoax, the emotional toll it takes on the actor, his family, and his security team cannot be ignored.
In the middle of this chaos, Salman Khan has continued to carry himself with a sense of calm. While promoting his upcoming film Sikandar, when asked about these threats, he said, “God and Allah are with them. Whatever age is written for me, that’s what I’ll live. Sometimes, I have to take so many people along with me, and that’s where the problem lies.”
There’s strength in his words—but also a hint of helplessness. He knows his life isn’t entirely his own anymore. The pressure of fame, the constant eyes on him, and now these threats—it’s a heavy price to pay for stardom.
At what point do we say enough is enough? Law enforcement cannot afford to treat these incidents as just routine. It’s high time the threat perception around celebrities, especially someone like Salman Khan who has been targeted repeatedly, is reassessed seriously and not brushed off.
Security measures must go beyond routine protocol—because clearly, the threats aren’t stopping.
