Khan Sir Responds to movie Chhaava he shares his thoughts

The film Chhaava, based on the life of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, was recently released. This film has created a lot of buzz among the audience and has received various reactions. However, in the currently available sources, the response of the famous teacher Khan Sir to this film has come to the fore. This video clip of Khan Sir is going viral on social media.

Recently, a clip of Khan Sir’s interview with Times Network went viral on social media. In it, he gives his reaction to Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava movie. Khan Sir is asked, “What is your opinion on this?” It is believed that the amount of land that Mughals and kings like Akbar got, Maharana Pratap did not get that much.

Khan Sir replies to this, “Yes, we teach, and that too with full respect; it is not that we do not teach. The problem is that we say that they should get a large part of the respect and syllabus. But in India, the internal kings were divided a lot. After the death of Harshvardhan, you will not find a king to control the whole of India.

He further says, “Maharana Pratap and the rulers of Rajasthan do not get a place in history; this is very sad, but after the invasion of Mohammad Bin Qasim, the rulers of Rajasthan did not allow any foreign invaders to enter for 500 years. However, when the fort of the rulers of Rajasthan fell, the whole of India was captured within the next 100 years. So they were so brave, they should get respect. They may not be God, but it is only because of their sacrifice that people are still alive today.”

The film Chhaava, based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the great warrior of the Maratha Empire, is very much in the news these days. Vicky Kaushal plays the lead role in this historical film. This film is an attempt to bring the valor, sacrifice, and struggles of Sambhaji Maharaj, the brave son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, to the big screen.
