85 Students from IIT Bombay get over ₹1cr package, congratulations to them

Students of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay have set a new record in the placement season this year. A total of 85 students of IIT Bombay have received job offers of annual packages of more than Rs 1 crore. Recently, news came that IT sector companies are recruiting less this year due to the global recession. However, IIT Bombay has defied all estimates and has provided tremendous packages to the students this year.

According to online sources, 63 students of IIT Bombay have been given job offers by foreign companies, while 85 students have received offers of more than Rs 1 crore during campus placement so far. This time many national and international companies were involved in the placement drive. Some of the prominent companies include Airbus, Air India, Apple, Cohesity, Da Vinci, Google, Intel, Jaguar Land Rover, Morgan Stanley, Mercedes-Benz, Qualcomm, Reliance Group, Samsung, Schlumberger, Strand Life Sciences, Tata Group, Texas Instruments, TSMC, TVS Group and Wells Fargo.

These companies gave job offers to the students with attractive packages and benefits. In addition, many startups and emerging companies also provide opportunities to the students. 63 students have been given job offers by foreign companies, most of the international offers have come from Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Netherlands, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

According to online reports, so far the highest number of jobs have been given in Engineering and Technology, IT and Software, Finance and Banking, Fintech, Management Consulting, Data Science and Analytics, Research and Development, and Design sectors. The students have expressed happiness over this great achievement. The Director of IIT Bombay congratulated the students on this occasion and said that it is a matter of pride for the institute.
