Ajeet Bharti was born in Begusarai, a small village in Bihar. Growing up in a family that valued education,  he studied at Sainik School Tilaya. He completed BA Honors from Kirori Mal College and Masters in Mass Communication from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha Delhi University.

Ajeet Bharti’s career started as a sports journalist and business journalist, he worked with multiple news channels Times of India, The Economic Times, and IANS. He covered the political side and worked on international news. In 2013, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Vivekanand Institute of Professional Studies. After this, he joined OPindia.

Ajeet Bharti’s first book was written in 2016, Bakar Puran, a Hindi novel based on a bachelor’s life and published by Hind Yugam Prakashan. His second book, Ghar Wapsi, was published in 2017. This book is based on migration and covers the story of an adult who goes home and wants to fulfill his father’s unfulfilled dreams. His third book, There Will Be No Love, is in English, dedicated to his college because he completed his education in English. It contains nine stories that are quite violent, reflecting the harsh realities of society.
