Online Game apps used to brainwash young Hindus and convert them to Islam, Maulana arrested

A new form of religious conversion is taking place in the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. Hindu children are being targeted for religious conversion through online gaming. In Ghaziabad, a Hindu young boy was made to perform the five daily prayers.

The Ghaziabad police initiated an inquiry right away after hearing the news and arrested the Maulvi who was playing the game of religious conversion through online gaming.

The Maulvi’s name is Abdul Rahman, also known by the name of ‘Nanhi’, he was a former committee member of the same mosque where the young boy used to go for prayers. After Abdul’s arrest, the model of religious conversion that was exposed is quite disturbing. The conspiracy involved the use of two apps.

According to the Ghaziabad police, this model of religious conversion was divided into four stages, which you will understand step by step. In the first stage, Hindu boys were targeted on the Fortnite gaming app. Those who lost the game were asked to recite Quranic verses.

Reciting these verses was promised to bring victory to the game. Some boys did so, and deliberately the opponent player would lose the game. The targeted boys believed that reciting the verses led to their victory.

In the second stage, Hindu boys were engaged in chatting on an app called Discord. Members of the religious conversion gang used fake Hindu usernames to chat with targeted boys. They would then initiate conversations to instigate religious conversion.

In the third stage, when the trust was built, videos of extremist Islamic scholar Zakir Naik were shown to the targeted boys. Provocative material and information about religious rituals were sent to them. In the last stage, when the indoctrination had deepened, pressure was applied to visit nearby religious places. When the Hindu boys became completely disoriented and vulnerable, their religious conversion was carried out.

According to TV9, this conspiracy was being executed through the Fortnite and Discord apps. It’s not that these two apps were used solely for this purpose. Fortnite is an online video game popular in America and Europe.

However, the gang involved in religious conversion in India used these platforms to carry out their conspiracy. Similarly, Discord is an American social media platform primarily used for chatting. But now the main culprit of this gang, Abdul Rahman, is in police custody, while a person named ‘Baddo’ is still being searched for.
