Virat Kohli is the best batsman in the world across all three formats of the game. His consistency is what sets him apart from most other batters of this modern era. His ability to score runs on a consistent basis across all formats of the game makes him one of the complete batsman in the world.

Kohli was criticised for not scoring a century in international cricket for close to three years. Nonetheless, he silenced the critics once and for all by smashing a brilliant century against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022 tournament.

He also ended the century drought after 1013 days by scoring his maiden T20I century. Kohli getting back to his best is indeed good news to Team India.

The right-handed batsman scored 296 runs in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. He has smashed as many as four half-centuries in the showpiece and enjoyed batting in Australian conditions.

Notably, he was also the leading run-scorer of the showpiece event. He also carried on his Midas touch with the bat by scoring his 44th ODI century during the third and final ODI against the Bangladesh national cricket team recently in Chattogram. He also went on to score his 45th and 46th century against the Sri Lankan cricket team in the first and third ODI at home.
