He achieved the feat during the first Test against Australia. Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin made the headlines after he chipped in with a savage reply to a Rohit Sharma’s fan who tried to pull the veteran off-spinner’s leg on the micro-blogging Twitter handle.
On November 30, 2022, when Ravi Ashwin was not part of the white-ball assignment against New Zealand in New Zealand, he took to his official Twitter handle and then posted a tweet.
“Quality banter from Stephen Fleming, @kartikmurali and @ImZaheer. Flem talking about flat wickets when india come for a series to NZ and our boys reminding him about the 2002 series where Dan Vettori dint bowl a single over,” tweeted off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.
Meanwhile, one of the Rohit Sharma’s fan tried to pull the spinner’s leg by writing, “Anna, one plate Idly and one plate sambar”. To which, Ravi Ashwin came up with a sarcastic reply which reads, “Vada”. Ashwin’s reply went viral in no time on the internet.
