Zomato CEO replies after User finds Scam in the Food Delivery App, catch details

A few days ago, an entrepreneur took to LinkedIn and then shared that he was indeed shocked to come across the scam which is going on in Zomato by the food delivery executives in the first place.

The Zomato user went on to claim that he was notified by a food delivery agent at Zomato that he should not prefer to pay online when he orders the next time. Meanwhile, the delivery executive also allegedly gave him a piece of advice as to how the cheat the company thus dropping a major hint about the massive fraud by the agents that is going on in that organization.

Vinay Sati, the entrepreneur who disclosed this scam on social media added that he got goosebumps hearing what is going on at Zomato. He also wrote that he ordered burgers from Burger King through Zomato a few days ago when the delivery agent came and told him not to pay online.

“Sir, don’t pay online next time.”

“He said that next time when you will order food worth 700-800rs through COD (Cash On Delivery) you only have to pay 200rs for that. I will show it to Zomato that you have not taken the food but will also give you the food you ordered”

He further added, “Aap bas mujhe 200rs, 300rs de dena or 1000rs ke khane ke maje lena”

He also urged the CEO to take notice of what’s actually going on in the company.

“Deepinder Goyal ji, now don’t say that you don’t even know that this is happening?And if even after knowing all this, you are not able to solve it So what are your #IIM guys doing?”

To which, Zomato founder replied, “Aware of this. Working to plug the loopholes”
