The Indian-origin Rishi Sunak became the talk of the town after becoming United Kingdom’s Prime Minister recently. For the unversed, Rishi is the son-in-law of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy. Rishi is married to Infosys founder Narayana Murthy’s daughter Akshata Murthy in 2009, whom he first met at Stanford.

Talking about Rishi Sunak’s early life, education and political career, he is of Indian origin and his family settled there. Rishi was born in Southampton, Hampshire, in the year 1980. He did his schooling at Winchester College. Later on, he studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University.

In addition to that, he has done an MBA from Stanford University. Rishi’s father works as a doctor whereas his mother used to run a chemist shop. In his early days, Rishi used to work with his mother in her chemist shop.

After gaining much-needed experience in this stream, he decided to create his own investment firm. India is all busy thinking about how it can get back the Kohinoor and Billionaire Harsh Vardhan Goenka seem to have the masterplan. Taking to Twitter, Goenka shared his friend’s idea to get back the Kohinoor diamond.

The RPG group chairman wrote, “My friend’s idea to get back #Kohinoor – Invite #RishiSunak to India – Kidnap him when he is stuck in Bangalore traffic to visit his in-laws – Send Ashish Nehra as UK PM instead. No one will realise it. – Nehra will be told to pass the bill to return Kohinoor.”
