Dominos replies after a Man shares pics of ‘Glass pieces’ in his Pizza, catch details

Gone are the days when the people across the country used to eat only healthy foods on a regular basis. As the years progressed, people have started eating junk foods like puffs, kachori, samosas and so on.

Although people eat such type of snacks even today, what’s really been consumed more by people is “Pizzas and Burgers with loads of cheese”. One can consume this food occasionally because it’s not at all good for health in the first place.

On the other side of the coin, we have also seen foods not being processed properly as far as the hygiene is concerned. Meanwhile, in the recent development, a man shared pictures of glass pieces in his pizza.

The incident stunned the social media fraternity, with the majority of the users questioning the reputation of the brand. The user took to Twitter and tagged the pizza delivery outlet and the Mumbai Police.

“2 to 3 pieces of glass found in @dominos_india. This speaks volume about global brand food that we are getting @dominos @jagograhakjago @fssaiindia. Not sure of ordering ever from Domino’s @MumbaiPolice @timesofindia”

His tweet went viral in no time, and it received a lot of reactions. Even Mumbai Police also replied to the tweet, saying, “Please write to customer care first. If they don’t reply or give unsatisfactory reply, then you can think of legal remedy.”

Meanwhile, Zomato replied, “Hi Arun, this shouldn’t have happened. We are looking into this and will get back to you ASAP.”

Here’s how Dominos responded!

“As a responsible brand, we immediately contacted the customer upon receiving the concern to ascertain the facts of the matter through various channels of communication. Our quality team has also conducted a thorough investigation of the restaurant in question and no anomaly was found in the inspection. We follow a strict no-glass policy in our kitchen and operation area,” Dominos responded.

“We will be investigating the matter further once we get the samples from the user and take action accordingly,” it added.
