Vijay Deverakonda reacts after receiving backlash for putting his feet in front of journalist, catch details

Vijay Deverakonda is an Indian actor and producer who primarily works in Telugu language films. He established himself as a leading actor in the Tollywood industry by starring in lead roles in films such as Arjun Reddy (2017), Mahanati (2018), Geetha Govindam (2018), and Taxiwaala (2018).

Moreover, his performance in Arjun Reddy won him several accolades, including the Filmfare Award for Best Actor (Telugu). His popular films include Arjun Reddy, Geeta Govindam, Pelli Choopulu and so on.

He has a huge fan following in India. The actor who never smoked a cigarette was forced to smoke in the movie Arjun Reddy. The story demanded the character to carry a smoking habit. However, Vijay then gave up the smoking habit once the movie got over.

He will make his Bollywood debut with Liger directed by Karan Johar. Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda is busy promoting his upcoming film “Liger” featuring co-star Ananya Pandey and others. 

At the press conference, one of the journalists told Vijay that it was uncomfortable for him to communicate with him like this. He said: I’m not able to do it right now.

Meanwhile, Vijay had suggested that he should raise his feet so much so that they could communicate in a more relaxed way. Vijay also remarked by putting his feet up and said, “Let’s talk freely”.

While some of the fans tried to slam the actor for talking like this, the actor broke the silence by posting a tweet on his official Twitter handle. “Anybody trying to grow in their field.. Will Always have a Target on their back – But we fightback 🙂 And when you are honest, yourself and want the best for everyone – The love of people and God will protect you,” he tweeted.

Earlier, Vijay Deverakonda responded to Sara Ali Khan’s wish to date him. The actor was recently asked about his reply to Sara Ali Khan wanting to date him, which she revealed during her appearance on Koffee With Karan. Earlier, ‘I texted her, it is so sweet of her to have said that’

When asked about his reaction to Sara Ali Khan’s statement, Vijay told ETimes, “Okay, but I am a better actor. I texted her (Sara). It is so sweet of her to have said that.” When he was asked if he would really like to date her, Vijay said, “I can’t even say the word ‘relationship’ well. How can I be in one?”
