Shoaib Akhtar gives sweet reply to fan who asked him to describe Kohli in one word

Virat Kohli is going through a lean patch in his cricketing career. It’s been almost three years since he scored a century in international cricket. The last time when he scored a ton was back in November 2019 during a Test match against Bangladesh.

However, he hasn’t been producing high-class performance in competitive cricket. Whenever he comes out to bat, he is getting dismissed for cheap scores, which is indeed a frustrating thing for him and for the fans.

He has chipped in with a string of low scores for a long time now, which has indeed broken his confidence. Every time when he comes out to bat, he is not really focusing much while batting. Although he has been looking good at the start, he is getting dismissed pretty quickly.

Had he spent some time at the crease, then he would surely try to bring the best out of himself. During the second ODI against England, former Indian skipper Virat Kohli scored just 16 runs to his name before being dismissed by David Willey.

He was looking pretty confident at the crease but fell prey to Willey’s away-going delivery. Kohli was on the receiving end of trolls after he got out cheaply once again.

The right-handed batsman recently skipped India’s tour of West Indies. Besides that, he has also skipped the upcoming three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. The flamboyant cricketer will make a comeback in the upcoming edition of the Asia Cup 2022.

Meanwhile, Shoaib Akhtar was asked to describe former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli in one word. To which, he came up with a priceless reply, which has been doing the rounds on the internet.

A Twitter user asked Akhtar, “One word for Virat Kohli”. To which, the former Pakistani fast bowler replied, “Legend already”. His reply went viral in no time. Kohli might be out of form, but he is still a world-class batsman. He has smashed 70 centuries in international cricket, which is an incredible feat.

Earlier, Akhtar said why he is supporting Kohli on his YouTube channel. “As a Pakistani, why am I supporting Kohli? Well, he has scored 70 hundreds. Woh 70 sau khaala ke ghar mein ya candy crush khelte huye nahi banein hain. (Those 70 tons were not scored in his aunt’s backyard or while playing Candy Crush).”
