IAS aspirant mistakenly celebrated UPSC result, got heart attack after knowing the truth

The result of the UPSC exam has been declared on May 30. After the release of the result, happiness is visible on the faces of some candidates and disappointment on the faces of some. But Uttam Bhardwaj, a resident of Bulandshahr, suffered a mild stroke due to one of his mistake. In fact, without seeing his roll number and father’s name, Uttam Bhardwaj along with the whole family told the media that he had become an IAS. Uttam told that he passed the exam after getting the 121st rank in the result of the UPSC exam.

Uttam’s relatives also distributed sweets in the entire area and also gave the good news to all the relatives about the son becoming an IAS. As soon as this word spread, there was an influx of people congratulating Uttam Bhardwaj. This process of congratulation lasted for 24 hours, but after 24 hours, when the truth came in front of everyone, everyone’s senses were blown away. The UPSC exam was cleared not by Uttam Bhardwaj of Bulandshahr, but by Uttam Bhardwaj, a student of Sonipat, Haryana.

Uttam Bhardwaj is originally from Devipura in the Bulandshahr district. Presently he is posted as Assistant Section Officer in the Ministry of External Affairs in Delhi. Uttam’s father Naveen Kumar Sharma is an executive engineer in the Electricity Department and is currently posted in Moradabad.

According to reports, all this confusion has happened because of a roll number. Bulandshahr Niwari Uttam Bhardwaj did not pay attention to the last roll number and put the roll number of Uttam Bhardwaj, a student resident of Nizampur village of Sonepat district of Haryana. When Uttam saw his name, he felt that success had come to him. But when a student from Haryana staked her claim on that roll number, Uttam, a student of Bulandshahr, was surprised. Let us tell you that the roll number of Uttam is 3516894, while the roll number of Haryana Niwari Uttam Bhardwaj is 3516891.

When this truth came in front of Uttam, he suffered from a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital. For now, his health is fine. But his family is now avoiding the questions of the media. However, Uttam Bhardwar has now apologized for this by writing a letter.

Uttam Bhardwar has written a letter apologizing. Uttam wrote, ‘I am telling Uttam, with the bottom of my heart that I am sorry that due to my mistake while noting down the roll number in my document, the wrong information was spread about my selection in UPSC CSC 2021. Please forgive me for this mistake.’

On the other side, Uttam Bhardwaj, a resident of Nimajpur village of Sonipat, Haryana, secured 121st position in the UPSC examination. Uttam has done MSc in Chemistry. He did coaching after staying in Delhi for a year. Prepared by staying at home for three years. His Fathe runs a school in Ramroop village and his mother Rajkala is a housewife.
