Meanwhile, the actor revealed the reason why Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi refused to beat him during a film sequence in a recent interview.
Sonu said, We were doing an action sequence and Chiranjeevi sir said, ‘You being in the film is a big problem for us because I can’t hit you in the action scene’. He said if he does that people will curse him.’
Besides that, the actor also opened up that, unlike earlier films where he was mostly offered negative roles, now he is being offered lead hero roles. The actor added, ‘I am getting all hero roles now. I have got four-five brilliant scripts. Let’s hope. It’s a new beginning. It is a new pitch and it will be nice and fun.’
