India is the largest producer of movies in the world. There are several types of film industries in the country. They are none other than Bollywood (Hindi), Tollywood (Telugu), Kollywood (Tamil), Mollywood (Malayalam), Sandalwood (Kannada) and so on.
Over the years, Tollywood and Sandalwood have hit their peak because they have produced high-quality movies. The likes of Baahubali 1, Baahubali 2, Pushpa, KGF 1 and 2 have become pan-India hits.
On the other hand, it’s quite sickening to know that Bollywood hasn’t been producing quality movies for a long time now. In fact, the industry has been making the headlines for all the wrong reasons these days, with many people inside the industry blaming the directors and others for misbehaving with them behind the scenes.
Meanwhile, the Indian actress and model, Gauahar Khan exposed the ugly side of Bollywood Parties. The 38-year-old kick-started her career as a model and also took part in the Femina Miss India contest in 2002.
After featuring in dance numbers, she made her acting debut with Yash Raj Films’ Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. Meanwhile, she opened up on the ugly side of Bollywood parties.
Gauahar Khan told E times television, “I am getting to hear this from my modelling days. When I was a model and not very clear which way my life would go, people would tell me, “Gauahar if you don’t party, you won’t be a part of the IT crowd”. “If you don’t stand with a glass of wine in a fashion show, you are not cool”. I would get to hear all this but I never followed these things even then.”
She also spoke about the trolls and how she is resistant to them. “Ek zamana tha jab log kehte the aap ke ghar waale kya sochenge, phir aaya aapke neighbours kya sochenge, bolenge till then people were in your close proximity. These people trolls are faceless, identity less, brainless, why do we have to prove them anything? The best thing that social media has made is block, you can’t ruin your mental peace,” she added.
