Silambarasan, also known by his stage name Simbu or STR, is a multi-talented actor in the Tamil film industry. Simbu has been unmarried for four years after quitting his previous relationships, and his parents are keen to get him to marry.
He kick-started his acting career by playing roles as a child artist in films directed by his father T. Rajendar, before his first lead role in Kadhal Azhivathillai (2002), under his father’s direction and produced by his mother Usha.
He made a terrific comeback in Tamil cinema with ‘Maanadu’ in 2021. The veteran actor is one of the most eligible bachelors in Kollywood. ‘When will Simbu get married?’ is one question that is being repeatedly discussed on social media.
Meanwhile, a serial actress had expressed that she would like to marry Simbu. Her name is Sreenidhi and she is a popular serial actress who has acted in Zee Tamil channel’s ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’.
She also recently shared a meme on her Instagram story which reads, “one day everyone will be married. me and str will only be left” with a pic of Silambarasan getting emotional. When fans wrote, “Why can’t you two get married?”
To which, she sarcastically replied, “Nalla than irukum but ipo enaku aal iruke” (sic). Her post has been doing the rounds on social media circles.
