Radhika Merchant has been in the eyes of the media for quite a while. After all, she is supposedly the daughter in law of Mukesh Ambani; managing director, chairman, and largest shareholder of India’s most valuable company, Reliance industries. Mukesh’s son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have been spotted together many times, but the family have never made an official statement about their relationship.
The two have known each other for a long time, and allegedly got married in secret back in 2019. The Ambanis never made an official announcement about this rumour. The rumours however are difficult to dismiss given the fact that Radhika is usually seen at major family events and celebrations.
Radhika was present for the Annual General Meeting hosted by Reliance where Mukesh welcomed the Radhika and Anant together. She also played a major role in Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding where Shah Rukh Khan teased Anant about Radhika. Apparently, Radhika is pretty tight with Anant’s mother, Nita too. If that isn’t enough, a video went viral recently where Radhika was seen feeding cake to Mukesh Ambani on her birthday.
Radhika on the other hand is known for her “normal” lifestyle and being down to earth. She is often spotted doing “regular people” stuff and allegedly loves trekking and relaxing in calm places.
Who is Radhika Merchant?
For the unversed, Radhika Merchant is the daughter of Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant. Her father is the CEO of Encore Healthcare. He is one of the prominent businessmen in India. She has a younger sister, Anjali Merchant.
The 23-year-old finished her schooling at John Connon School and École Mondiale World School. She did her higher studies at New York University. She graduated in Politics and Economics. After she arrived in India, she started working as a sales executive in a leading real estate firm. Her hobbies are swimming, reading and trekking.
According to the reports, Anant and Radhika are childhood friends. They started dating some time ago and are now engaged. She shares a good bond with the Ambani family. She was recently spotted with Nita Ambani on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi at Antilia.
