Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya announced that they were parting ways with each other on October 2 due to incompatible issues. The couple called it quits after four years of marriage. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya filed for divorce by mutual accord.
Chay and Samantha dated for 3 years before getting hitched on October 7, 2017, at Goa in a destination wedding. They announced their split just days before their wedding anniversary.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya filed for divorce by mutual consent. The legal proceedings are currently in progress. Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna, labelled their separation unfortunate and wished Samantha the best of luck.
Reportedly, Naga Chaitanya had offered Rs 200 crore alimony. Needless to say, Samantha refused to take any money and added that she doesn’t want a penny from her ex-husband.
Meanwhile, Samantha has already started the new innings of her career. She is one of the successful actresses in India. She hogged the limelight by featuring in Telugu and Tamil films. Samantha took the next step in her career by featuring in the most popular web series “The Family Man season 2”.
Rajalakshmi was introduced as the major adversary in the second season. Samantha portrayed this character exceptionally well. Filmfare Awards, two Nandi Awards, four South Indian International Movie Awards, and three CineMAA Awards were among the many honours she received. Samantha was paid between Rs. 3-4 crore to play Rajalakshmi.

The popular actress shared a screenshot of an emotional WhatsApp chat with her mother on early Wednesday morning. She posted the Whatsapp chat as an Instagram Story which went viral on social media.
“You don’t know the new me; I put back my pieces, differently. God bless you abundantly, my baby,” her mom told Sam. However, Samantha hid the rest of the conversation from her followers.
