This is not the first time when Vendaant has made his father proud. He had won 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal at the Junior National Level Swim meet three months ago.

Rahul Dravid’s Son scores a double century at Under-14 State Level

In sensational news, Rahul Dravid’s son Samit scripted history as he smashed a scintillating double century in an Under-14 state-level game. The bright prospect proved that age is just a number in the gentleman’s game and turned up the heat against Dharwad Zone while playing for Vice-President’s XI.

It is quite fair to say that the 14-year-old son is following in his father’s footsteps. He hunkered himself at the crease and faced 256 balls to score the beautiful knock which included as many as 22 fours.

The story doesn’t end here. Samit scored a brilliant 94 not out in the second innings of a drawn game. Quite interestingly, Samit bagged three wickets to his name. His all-round performance received plaudits from all across the world.

Based on the prima facie, one can come to a firm judgement that Samit can go on to replicate success in cricket at the highest level just like his father ruled the cricket in his prime.

Rahul Dravid has been an integral part of Indian cricket history and has played an important role in lifting the values and morals of the gentleman’s game. He is often known as the man of simplicity. He is admired by millions of fans across the world.

He is probably one of the very few players in the world to have no haters. It would be quite interesting to see if his son can go places just like Rahul Dravid. Can the Junior wall makes waves and weave the magic like The Wall? Only, time will tell the true story.
