Minor Brahmin girl gang-raped and killed in Dalit majority village, media keeps silent

In a shocking incident, an 11-year-old Brahmin girl was allegedly gang-raped and murdered in Begusarai District of Bihar. The body of this minor girl, who was missing from her home for the last 4 days, was recovered from a riverbank, police told Neo Politico.

Police are making all possible efforts to nab the culprits who raped and murdered a minor girl.

The family of the victim said that her kid, aged 11 years, had gone missing from a shop where she had gone to buy a packet of biscuit. When she didn’t return home for around an hour they went for a search.

They approached nearby police station where they filed a police complaint and even after pleading for 5 days, the police remained spectacled, the family added.

The family said that they were desperately trying to search for her when they were asked by police to identify the dead body of a girl which was found a few kilometres away from their home near a riverbank.

The cloth of the deceased was ripped off and her neck was bleeding. It has been learnt that in a Dalit majority village only two brahmin families are residing.

The Bhavanandpur village is a Dalit majority village where only two brahmin families are living. As per the details, many of the villagers didn’t want brahmins to reside in their village and on many occasions they had warned them to leave.

The victim’s father Kundan Mishra is serving as a priest at a local temple. He told us that she was studying in class 6th and wanted to become a doctor. But her life and dream have been ruined by the culprits.

Police have launched an investigation into this matter and said that the Rapists would not be spared. The body has been sent for post-mortem, police said.
