India’s bravest decision: MP Govt demolishes the house from where stones were pelted

After the horrific stone-pelting by a Muslim mob on Hindus taking out Ramnidhi Sangrahan rally in Begumbagh area of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, the MP government took stringent action against those involved in the stone-pelting. The police along with teams of municipal corporation demolished a house from where stones were pelted at the people taking out the yatra.

In a swift action, the police came forward and cracked down on illegal construction using a JCB extravator. It is said that Several Hindus had taken out a Ramnidhi Sangrahan rally for collecting donations for the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. The rally was scheduled to start from the tower area and stop at Bharat Mata Mandir in Mahakal area. However, when the rally reached the Muslim-dominated area of Begum Bagh area of the city, a mob starting attacking the rally with stones from rooftops. The people in the rally ran for safety and even left their vehicles behind in a hurry.

In the videos of the incident that went viral on social media, women and young children could be seen hurling stones at the people in the rally. Several people sustained severe injuries in the stone-pelting. The mob did not stop after the people ran away leaving their vehicles behind. The mob then came on the road and vandalised the vehicles in a display of absolute audacity and no fear of law.

So far, 18 people have reportedly been arrested by the police and 5 people have been booked under the National Security Act (NSA). Around 36 people have so far been made accused in the case. Teams of police have been deployed in the areas to prevent any untoward situation.

The new flats will reportedly be provided to affected families at cheaper rates. The construction will take place under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana within two years. The land where the colony is located will be used for developing parking area and other facilities. The decision to pull down the colony and provide alternate accommodation to affected families was taken about a month ago in a meeting of Ujjain Smart City Board.
