Anand Mahindra does it again, offers help to man who cycled 106km to get his son to exam centre

Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra group who is known for the knack of his entrepreneurship skills is active on the social media platform more often than not. He always chips in with interesting, inspiring and entertaining posts. Time and again, he has won millions of hearts with his gesture.

The coolest business tycoons in India is an inspiration to millions of youngsters and at the same time, he is loved for his sense of humour and wittiness. He has a huge fan-following on social media, especially on Twitter.

Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of Mahindra group had recently offered help to a man who cycled 106 km with his son as his son had to appear for the class 10 board supplementary exams. Recently, Anand Mahindra took to his official Twitter handle and lauded the man.

The man hails from Manawar Tehsil, falls under Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh. With no transportation facilities, the man had no other option but to travel by bicycle with his son. The father’s name is identified as Shobharam while son’s name is Aseesh.

The father told news agency ANI that he wants his son to achieve something after his academics come to a close. The man said he was saving money for the exam form from his daily wages. Shobharam plies his trade as a farmer. However, he works as a labourer more often than not.

The exam was held on Tuesday in Dhar, so Aseesh and his father began their journey on Monday afternoon. Father and son stayed at Mandav at night and then they arrived at the examinaton centre just few minutes ahead of the start of the exam.

Since they had no place to stay in Dhar and considering that Aseesh had Social Science examination on Wednesday, they packed food for three days.

Aseesh added that he and his father had to come by cycle because buses were not functioning due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. Shobharam, the boy’s father wants his son to become big officer in the future. To help his father, he had pedaled bicycle for some distance.

Meanwhile, Anand Mahindra heaped praise on father and labelled heroic parent. Not just this, the businessman also offered to take complete care of Aseesh’s further studies through his foundation. Anand Mahindra tweeted, “A heroic parent. One who dreams big for his children. These are the aspirations that fuel a nation’s progress. At @MahindraRise we call it a Rise story.
