Husband Ejaz Ahmed beheaded his Hindu wife, threw her body in bushes, two accused arrested

It is no secret that some youths from Muslim community are involved in the heinous practice of Love Jihad, an alleged effort made by them only to target beautiful and rich women belonging to non-Muslim communities for religious conversion to Islam by ‘fake love’.

This infamous concept first came to light in India in the year 2009 with alleged conversions in Kerala and Karnataka. Slowly, it started to spread across all states of India.

In a recent heartbreaking incident that took the entire nation by shock, a 23-year-old Hindu woman has been killed by two Muslim youth as she fell prey to a trap of ‘love jihad’.

The incident took place in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. According to the reports, the Uttar Pradesh police on Monday had recovered a beheaded body of a woman in a forest area near Preet Nagar under the Chopan police station area. The police officials said that the father of the deceased, Laxminarayan, identified the deceased as Priya Soni from her shoes and clothes.

The father of the deceased informed the police that her daughter Priya fell into the trap which was laid by this Muslim boy named Ejaz Ahmed and she later got married to him. According to the father of the deceased, Ejaz forced her to convert to Islam, but she denied to so.

Police had launched a search operation to trace the accused and they were nabbed from Baggha Nala Pul early Thursday morning, police said.

The mobile phone of the deceased and a knife, iron rod and car were also recovered. The National Security Act (NSA) will also be invoked against them, police said.
