From youngsters to the ones, aged with time, music has left a deep-rooted commitment to every human being in every stage of life. Music is an embodiment of love, anger, passion, and melancholy expressed through profound lyrics, tunes, and rhythms.

However, one must be surprised by the educational background of their favorite singers and rappers. Some of them have been excellent in academics, while others chose the path of music at a very tender age.

A R Rahman

Composer, lyricist, and worldwide acclaimed singer, A R Rahman left school in the midway to support his family after his father’s untimely death. He later completed his education from Madras Christian College higher secondary school. He also received a scholarship from Trinity College London to further pursue his knowledge in music from Trinity College of Music.

Shreya Ghoshal

Sweet as the voice of a nightingale, Shreya Ghoshal studied in Atomic Energy Central School in Rawatbhata till eight grade. Later she took English as a major and graduated from SIES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in Mumbai.

Arijit Singh

Arijit Singh’s career took off in Bollywood with the latest romantic sequel Ashiqui 2. But very few are aware that he did his schooling from Raja Bijay Singh high school and graduated from Sripat Singh college.
