Ever since the actor Sushant Singh Rajput has passed away, the Bollywood industry has divided into two parts- STAR KIDS & OUTSIDERS. The actor’s sudden demise has reignited the debate on nepotism.
Since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Kangana Ranaut has been speaking frequently on nepotism, blaming Bollywood biggies. She has been very vocal about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case since the very beginning.
The Bollywood industry has largely been influenced by people who haven’t heir link-ups in the film industry. The so-called star kids of already established ones are already in the headlines for all the reasons and are allowed to stay there despite their success or failure.
On the contrary, talented ones are struggling to set their feet. To make things worse, the Bollywood industry even leaves people when they go through bad times. For instance, Sushant Singh’s death by suicide.
Meanwhile, an old interview of Akshay Kumar has surfaced on the internet where he shared his opinion on nepotism and how he hates it. He also added how he has never given his son Aarav and daughter Nitara any advantages because they are his children.
In an interview with Republic’s Arnab Goswami, Akshay Kumar was asked if nepotism rocks. While explaining about it, Akshay Kumar said, “My son always travels in economy class, not that I cannot afford it, I can very much afford it. But when he does something, like he got his black belt, he was shifted to business class. So I always do that with my children.”
He further added that he makes sure his kids also have to work hard for things. “I have never given them the advantage of being my children. For him also, he has to work hard for everything,” said Akshay Kumar.
He further said that even if his son Aarav wishes to become an actor, he would want him to run for it and work for it. “So it sucks. Nepotism sucks,” concluded Akshay Kumar. Take a look at the video below:
