Mahesh Bhatt’s Son makes shocking allegations against him, here’s what he said

Mahesh Bhatt, who is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter is well-known for his notable works exclusively in Hindi cinema. Besides being a bigwig in the Bollywood industry, Mahesh Bhatt has been hitting the headlines for all the controversial reasons.

The most controversial one was when he locked his lips with his own daughter, Pooja Bhatt a long time ago. A couple of years ago, he came under fire for his controversial pictures with Jalebi actress Rhea Chakraborty.

During the previous times, he also hit the headlines for making absurd statements about his daughter Pooja Bhatt. He often hit the headlines for his series of controversies more than his films altogether. So far in his life, he had three women that shaped him whoever he is today. However, the director has always been vocal about his relationship with his fans.

For the unversed, Mahesh Bhatt was born to a Hindu father and Muslim mother out of wedlock. The thing is he never saw relationships as we see and had a different perspective to see the world and this is why his life is full of controversies. He was known to be a flashy playboy of his time.

However, he hasn’t been a good father to his son. Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul Bhatt spoke about his father in one of the interviews where he made some serious allegations.

Rahul Bhatt was last seen as one of the contestants in Bigg Boss. He also hogged the limeleight when his name was connected with the 26/11 Mumbai blasts. His name was in connection with the mastermind David Headley.

During such recent interview, he spilled his sad secrets. He adds how Mahesh Bhatt always mention his three daughters, Pooja Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Alia Bhatt, and never Rahul.

“My father Mahesh Bhatt never treated me like his own child. It’s the raw uncut truth about my relationship with my father. Perhaps if Mr. Mahesh Bhatt had been a father to me I wouldn’t have got into the friendship with Headley.”

On his growing up years he said, “My childhood insecurities, the lack of a father figure in my growing years were lacunas in my life that Mr.Headley used to win over my confidence. I was vulnerable. I had no father to guide me in my growing years.”

He also added, “I maintain my father has always been indifferent to me. He has always treated me like a bastard. I felt like Andy Garcia in The Godfather 3.”

Needless to say, he also admitted that experiences like these made him a stronger person.

“I am not a bitter person. I think I am a ‘better’ person because of Mr. Bhatt’s treatment. I believe what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

Last but not least, he adds, “I grew up with these feelings of anger and resentment which would have easily been harnessed by Mr. Headley. That’s what bothers me. I think I escaped miraculously from real damage.”
