Shame on humans: for 19 years this turtle was in pain, you can’t help tears

Are we dumb? Yes, we are. We are not referring to someone who cannot hear anything and have impairment with the ears. When we say ‘dumb’, it is not the physical dumbness that people have, we are talking about the ‘phycological dumbness’ that we have.

One of the most basic things that is being taught in schools is ‘cleanliness’. But how many of us are really keeping the surroundings clean? Hardly a few and it’s because of us, other living creatures are getting affected. This is why it is more important to throw waste in the garbage bin.

Man is the only living being on Earth that is created to think and dominate over the other voiceless creatures. We are so dumb that we cannot do anything good to restore the planet.

The plastics which we expel in oceans is not only a threat to aquatic creatures but for us too. In fact, we are indirectly writing a death note for ourselves.

In this article, we are going to talk about a turtle who was discovered with a plastic ring around the width of her shell. The turtle had been caught in a rubber band from an early age, causing her to grow abnormally. It has been learnt that the turtle has been bearing this pain for around 19 years.

In addition to having an extremely narrow midsection, she was also found to be carrying several eggs at the time. The handler in Louisiana decided that she was no longer able to care for her and arranged to have Mae placed at the Eco Station.

The turtle grew into an odd shape after being trapped in a rubber band for years. As you can see, the size of this turtle is completely different from other turtles. The turtle apparently became trapped in the ring when it was younger and grew around it.

As she grew she could not break his plastic belt around her waist. Her shell is permanently deformed, giving her an hourglass-like shape. Now the time has come that we all should take our responsibility and we should not throw garbage in an open area. We must keep our surroundings neat and clean.
