“I am strong, Pray for my easy passing”, wrote Divya few minutes before she died

In heartbreaking news, actor Divya Chouksey passed away on July 12, the news of her demise was confirmed by her cousin Amrish Verma through a social media post.

The actress was 29 years old and was suffering from cancer. The news of her death came as a shock to her fans. Many fans and celebrities took to their social media and poured in wishes and prayers for the model.

Actor Divya Chouksey was fighting with cancer. She has been battling the illness for 1.5 years. Just hours before her passing, the actor shared a post on her social media.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Divya wrote on Saturday evening that words could not suffice the love she wanted to convey to her fans and friends. “It’s time I tell you guys. I am on my deathbed. S*** happens, I am strong. Be there another life of non-suffering. No questions please. Only god knows how much you mean to me. Bye,” she added.

In another message, Divya, who worked in the film “Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara”, told that she was in the hospital and could not even talk.

She urged fans to pray for her easy passing. “Guys, I have been hospitalized, not in the state to even talk, my cancer is killing me. Pray for my easy passing. Sorry just unable to reply. Love to all. Thank you,” the actor concluded.

Chouksey started her career with MTV series. She participated in Miss India UK and bagged the second-runner up the title and later in 2012, she also participated in a national beauty contest  ‘I am She – Miss Universe’. She made her Bollywood debut in 2016 with Hai Dil Toh Apna Awara alongside Sahil Anand and Nitya Joshi.
