Best friend of Sushant Singh writes to Ankita Lokhande, says “You could have saved him”

Bollywood promising actor Sushant Singh Rajput is no more with us. His untimely demise left everyone in shock, including his co-actress and ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande

He was a marvelous actor, a talented dancer, and a lovely human being. Though everyone in this world is for a limited time, what is painful is he had so much more in him for this world. He had so much more to work on. He always listened to his heart and did what he wanted to do. He might have lived for only 34 years but he nearly lived it in the best way possible.

His demise came as a shock to many and one of his close friend filmmaker Sandip Ssingh is also devastated by the news of Sushant’s death. Rajput’s friend Sandeep Ssingh, who’s a filmmaker, on Saturday took to Instagram to share a fond memory of the trio group — Sushant Singh, Ankita Lokhande and himself. He shared a Holi picture in which Sushant, Ankita, and Sandeep can be seen hugging each other while enjoying the festival to its fullest.

He wrote a special heartfelt note to Ankita, “Dear Ankita, with each passing day, one thought keeps haunting me over and over again. Kaash… I wish… We could have tried even harder, we could’ve stopped him, and we could’ve begged him!”

Sandeep revealed that Ankita’s prayers for Sushant and that she hasn’t removed his name from the nameplate. “Even when you both separated, you only prayed for his happiness and success… Your love was pure. It was special. You still haven’t removed his name from the nameplate of your house.”

He recalled his memories with the late actor Sushant and Ankita and wrote, “miss those days when the three of us stayed together in Lokhandwala as a family, we shared so many moments which bring tears to my heart today…cooking together, eating together, ac ka paani girna, our special Mutton bhaat, our long drives to uttan, Lonavala or Goa! Our crazy holi! Those laughs we shared, those sensitive low phases of life when we were there for each other, you more than anyone. The things you did to bring a smile on Sushant’s face.”

He further added that even today he believes that the two of them were made for each other. “I believe that only you two were made for each other. You both are true love. These thoughts, these memories are hurting my heart…how do I get them back! I want them back! I want ‘us three’ back! Remember the Malpua!? And how he asked for my mother’s Mutton curry like a little kid!,” he said

“I know that only you could’ve saved him. I wish you both got married as we dreamt. You could’ve saved him if he just let you be there…You were his girlfriend, his wife, his mother, his best friend forever. I love you Ankita. I hope I never lose a friend like you. I won’t be able to take it,” he added.

The actress had worked with Sushant in Zee TV’s show Pavitra Rishta and they also dated each other for a few years. When Ankita Lokhande got to know about Sushant Singh Rajput death news, she simply said ‘What’ and hung up the phone.
